Evening Tea and that with an home made, yummy and delicious snack really make a best complement of each other.
Evening snacks very important complement with tea or coffee.
So make simple, delicious, spicy ALOO CHOP to make your evening more beautiful !!!!

Ingredients:
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 6-7 chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon curshed pepper
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 cup biscuit crumbs
  • Oil for frying

 

Method:

  • Boil the potatoes, peel off the skin on cooling and mash well.
  • In another bowl, take the mashed potato and mix it well so that there are no crumbs.
  • In a separate bowl, add sliced onions, chopped green chillies and coriander leaves and mix the mixture well by adding the turmeric and coriander powders and salt.
  • In a pan heat add 2 tbsp oil. Fry the potato mixture for 5-10 minutes. Once the mixture get properly cooked keep it aside for couple of minutes and then make small balls of potato -spice mixture.
  • Pour the biscuit crumbs on a plate. And then apply this crumbs on potato -spice mixture.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Dip the spiced potato ball wrap with biscuit crumbs around it and deep fry the ball until it turns brown.
  • Take them out on a paper napkin for draining out excess oil.
  • Sprinkle crushed black pepper on the balls and serve with tomato ketchup or chutney.
